ToolTier (tooltier.dev) is operated by Eight Zero Seven LLC (“we”, “us”). These terms apply when you use the site or buy a pack, an All-Access subscription or a sponsorship. By using the site or making a purchase, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Digital products are provided as-is
Packs are digital files: rules, prompts, agent definitions, configuration files, hooks, scripts and example code. They are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We test packs before release, but we don't guarantee they are error-free, will work with every tool version, or will produce any particular result. AI tools change often, and output from AI models varies.
You are responsible for what you run
Review and test every rule, prompt, config, hook, script and code sample before you use it, especially in production or on systems that hold data you care about. Hooks and scripts can run commands on your machine, and AI agents following our rules or prompts can still make mistakes. Keep backups, use version control, and grant agents only the permissions they need. You decide what to run and where.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue or business, outages, security incidents, or damage to systems (for example, a deleted database or a broken deployment) arising from your use of the site or our products, even if we were told such damage was possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or our products is limited to the amount you paid us for the product that gave rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you.
Refunds
- Packs and the All Packs bundle: 14-day refund if the pack didn't help you, one refund per customer. Reply to your receipt email within 14 days of purchase to ask.
- We may decline requests that look abusive, such as repeat requests, or buying and refunding to collect the files.
- Statutory rights you have as a consumer where you live are not affected.
License
When you buy a pack, you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use and modify its contents in your own personal and commercial projects, including client work and projects you share with your team. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense or publish the pack files, in original or modified form, as a standalone product, template collection or free download. Code you build with the pack belongs to you.
All-Access subscription
All-Access is $9/month and renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the current billing period. We don't give partial refunds for unused time.
Sponsorships
- A sponsorship is $199, paid once, for one featured week. It includes the placements described on the Sponsor page.
- We review every sponsor and may reject or remove any sponsor or material at our discretion, for example for misleading claims, unsafe or illegal products, or content unsuitable for our audience. If we reject a sponsorship before it runs, we refund it in full.
- You confirm you have the rights to the logo, name and text you send us, and you let us display them for the sponsored week.
- Sponsored placements are always labeled “Sponsored”.
Rankings are editorial opinions
Tool tiers, rankings, reviews and guides are our editorial opinions, based on our testing and public information at the time. Prices and features change; check the vendor's site before you buy. Sponsors don't affect tiers or rankings, and buying a sponsorship doesn't buy a better position.
Community ratings and suggestions
When you rate a tool or suggest one, you agree to submit honest, lawful content: no spam, fake or paid reviews, ratings of your own product, harassment, hateful or illegal content, or other people's personal information. We moderate submissions and may edit, hide, reject or delete any of them without notice. By submitting, you let us use the content to run and improve ToolTier.
Acceptable use
Don't attack, overload or scrape the site in a way that harms it, try to get around download links or payment, or use the site to break the law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and change the date above. Changes apply to purchases made after they're posted.
